Combat rations

Here are the different operations which made the day after day better private life... Although ironically heard, although the Allied food was far superior to the German food.
It was in 1939 that the Quartermaster Corps (QMC) Decides to give a name specific to "the quantity of food provided to a person for a day", that is to say to the Ration. It will be called "Field Ration". This ration's mission to feed the soldier everywhere where it is located, which was after the first world war a large problem of logistics. 4 types of ration will be so designated (A, B, C, D)...
Later, up to 9 other ration will be created during the war, therefore the famous K rations and 10-in-1.
