The Curtiss P - 40 Warhawk

It was in 1938 that the P-40 appeared, under the name of his prototype XP-40 (name). The basic designed from the P-36, this aircraft was the first American fighter produced in large numbers, and it equipped the US Army during the conflict. He distinguished himself in North Africa, in Russia and in the Pacific.
