The hell of Saipan in color video

On 15 June 1944, American Marines landed on the beaches of the island of Saipan in the Pacific. Their troops are composed, among others, veterans who fought at Guadalcanal and Tarrawa. 

Pushed to end by 32,000 brave fighting Japanese, they will be 3 weeks to pacify the island and become a master.

This battle will be one of the most terrible for the takeover of the American control in the Pacific.
